Mommy’s Day Off

Momma didn’t have to work today and school was closed, so we dropped Jakey off at Debby’s and got to the Children’s Museum right when it opened. We headed straight for the bubbles area and I had some success with the bubble wands. I also learned how to point and shoot an air gun at some weather vanes. I learned a lot about air in general, as you can see from this photo of me in the windtunnel (of which I am not a big fan… ha ha… But seriously, it’s like a huge hand dryer and I don’t like those either.)

After I gave my rapt attention to each exhibit for an average of thirty seconds, we left and went to lunch at Momma’s favorite fish taco joint. I had some chips and guacamole and a quesadilla and rice.

It’s nice having a day to spend with just Momma. And no Jake. I think he will like to come to the museum with us next time, but it was nice having her to myself again for a day.
