Blueberry Pancakes

Can you tell what I had for breakfast?  Pancakes (I named the ingredients and helped stir) with blueberry compote.  Some of it seems to have gotten on my face and pajamas.

You can see several of my favorite things in this photo: blueberries, my froggy bib, and Bubbles (my pajamas which I have named).blueberries

Soup!

soupOne of my favorite things to eat is soup.  They serve tomato soup at school every other week but for the longest time, Momma never served it at home.  She claims she didn’t think I would like it.  Not like soup????  But finally she noticed that I ate several servings of it at school and so she bought me some sweet potato bisque.  It was a beautiful creamy orange concoction that stained my face and my dishes.  I loved it.  I smeared it all over myself.  I asked for “soup” all the rest of the week until I had finished the box.

One other great thing I noticed about soup is that I seem to get a bath on the days I eat it.  Not sure what the connection is, but usually the bath immediately follows the soup.

Day 5 at Betty Ford

5 days of withdrawal and counting.  I hardly think about my binky during the day, but come nighttime I still scream myself to sleep.  Naptime is nearly impossible.

I used to fall asleep without a protest or a peep.  I don’t know why Momma and Daddy are subjecting themselves to this.

Lost: Binky

Has anyone seen my binky?

I left several of them in my crib when I got up in the morning, but now they are nowhere to be found. Momma is feigning ignorance and I’m getting very very upset.

VERY UPSET!!

Please help.  I miss my binky.

My Favorite Things: Shoes

Oprah has her favorite things, and so I shall have mine.

I know that shoes belong on my feet. But like socks, they are much more fun off my feet. This video shows me taking part in my favorite shoe-related activity: walking around with them in my hands. I do this with socks on occasion too.

You’ll learn how to pick up shoes (one per hand is easiest), hear Momma interview me about my shoes, and see that while I know where the shoes go, I can’t quite get them on my feet yet.
