A word for all my fans
I just wanted to say thanks to all of my family and friends out there who check in on me and my blog. Momma, Daddy, and I love reading your comments. Grandma Ruby sends me messages a lot with wise advice and comforting messages. My teachers and friends from my old school tell me they miss me, which is nice, because I miss them too. (I still don’t like my new school so we’ll be switching again soon. I think I got lucky with my first daycare and now nothing seems good enough.) And I get messages from my blogging buddy Elias.
Summer is a busy time, so I haven’t been blogging much. But I do have lots to tell you about, including my new house and yard, my sprinkler, the local pool, and we have some trips planned soon. More to come…

It’s fun to stay at the YMCA
I am now an official, card-carrying member of our local YMCA. Momma says she wants to take me for
swimming lessons in what she tells me is a HUGE bathtub. And when I’m a bit bigger there is a room with a huge slide and play area. She also tells me there is a room I can go for free and play with toys and other kids and teenage girls. This sounds a lot like daycare to me and I plan to scream if she takes me there.
I have my own plans. I want to work on my upper-body strength so that I can pull myself out of my crib.

Fireworks
Are cool. They don’t scare me at all. I watched them for a few minutes, then went to sleep.

This Morning’s Activities
I was the first one up this morning. I decided to work on a little project while I was waiting in my crib and suprise Mommy when she came to get me out of bed. So I took off my diaper and went to work.
Just as I was putting the finishing touches on my face, Momma came in. The first thing she noticed was my diaper on the floor. She looked puzzled. Then she sniffed and looked at me and my crib for about 3 seconds. She was so thrilled with what she saw… with my creation… that she screamed for Daddy. She started saying, “Oh no no no no no no no no, no!” (This was confusing because I am sure that what I did was a good thing, but I thought “no” was for bad. She must not know how/when to use that word yet.)
When Daddy came in he stared at me too. Just to make sure that they knew that what I did was for them, I gave them a little smile.
The rest of the morning is a blur. They both started moving very quickly. Momma ran and started the bath. Daddy lifted me out of bed, making sure I came nowhere near him, and took me into the bathroom. I heard the washing machine start and Momma running around the house while Daddy gave me not one bath, but two! When we went back into my room my creation had been removed, my bed was stripped, and it smelled faintly of disinfectant.
