My First Temper Tantrum
It is sooo frustrating when I can’t have what I want. I used to just go with the flow, but I’ve had it up to here (that’s about 21 inches to my chin) with Momma controlling what I can or can’t have. And I let her and everyone else in my Wiggleworms class know it.
It all started when the time came for us babies to break out our maracas and start shaking (no, we don’t just wiggle- we shake too). I have the same maraca that most babies in the class have: a boring flat green one that was bought in the school store. But not Collin. Collin has a shiny blue maraca with a pattern all over it. He’s bigger than me, but he didn’t object when I grabbed it right out of his hands. Momma had to go and give it right back to him, and I had to try and get it back- and I kept trying – but she wouldn’t let me. She said I was “obsessed”. So I laid myself face down on the floor and screamed my frustration. And she just laughed.
Why can’t I have a fancy maraca? Momma won’t give in. She says, “It starts with a fancy maraca, but before you know it, it’s a flashy car.” What’s that all about? She doesn’t have to buy me one… just take Collin’s.

Yeah Me!
Just so you know…
I can put rings on a post, nest boxes and buckets, and stack things.
And I always applaud myself after doing so.
