Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’…
August 18, 2007
Well, for a long time now I’ve been holding up my head pretty good- both when I’m upright and when I’m on my stomach. Speaking of my stomach, I can now get there from my back if I lift my legs in the air and hold them over to one side. I’m really adept at rolling left, but my arm still gets stuck under me when I roll to the right. It’s really uncomfortable and frustrating. I have to make a lot of noise to get someone to come help me pull my arm out.
I’ve made up this fun little game to play when Momma or Dad puts me down on my back. I roll over onto my stomach and then pretend like I’m upset to find myself that way. I make a lot of complaining noises, and eventually one of them will come and roll me back onto my back. But I go ahead and roll onto my stomach again right away and start making noises again. They seem to find this only mildly amusing, while I get a real kick out of making them come pay attention to me. Just when I think I’ve pushed them too far I give them a big grin, and then they forget how I’ve just been messing with them.
